By far the best suited vegetable oil to base skincare, haircare and
bodycare formulations on, is pure organic hemp seed oil. This remarkable gift from nature has the perfect balance of EFA’s (essential fatty acids), omega 3, 6 and 9, which our bodies require for optimal health and normal human cell function.

These essential fatty acids are not produced by the body and need to be sourced externally through proper nutrition.

Unfortunately, many people are seriously lacking in EFA’s due to high saturated fat diets resulting in increased cases of eczema, psoriasis, dry cracked skin and premature aging.

For now I wish to focus on the positive re-birth taking place and embrace this amazing resource and discover once again, the many benefits obtained by using hempseed oil – both physically and environmentally. Many people have let go of the negative, ill-informed propaganda of the past, propaganda generated some 70 years ago by a powerful minority with self interests in stopping the flow of industry around hemp.

Now we are seeing a wave of inspiring people creating beautiful hemp products, researching sustainable industry and lobbying governments to bring about change.

By purchasing hemp based products you help to create demand, more demand for hemp will in time help to force changes in current legislation regarding the hemp industry in Australia. Changes that will benefit both consumers and the environment.
